There are numerous opportunities to volunteer at Clover Hill High School and we encourage all parents to help out in some way during the school year.

Opportunites include, but are not limited to, assisting the office with stuffing the packets that are mailed out to all students in during the summer, helping to collect fees, selling tickets during lunches to school sponsored dances and other events, and helping out at school sponsored dances.

Typically when volunteers are needed an email goes out via Edline describing what event volunteers are needed for, the date and times volunteers are needed and what the volunteers will be doing.

Current open positions:

Treasurer – This position will be responsible for depositing and writing checks. A monthly spreadsheet of all transactions is required and needs to be reported to the board each month.
Hospitality – This position will be assisting the hospitality committee. We provide lunch and/or special treats to the teachers monthly. You would assist with planning of the luncheons, setting up the lunches and requesting food from parents through Sign-up genius.
Arts In Education – This position will be responsible for organizing the Arts in Education event. Children in the school will submit their projects that would be judged and sent to the county for other judging. Arts in Education is run by teachers but they would like parent assistance. This project would last about 2 months and end with a celebration to all who were involved.

If you are interested in helping on a project but don’t want to take on a position all by yourself, we can try to find a few good people and make you into a committee that could do it together. Also our other committees are always looking for a helping hand, so consider joining us.
